School Profile

Founded in 1877, Rothesay Netherwood School (RNS) is a progressive, co-educational independent day and boarding school for Grades 6 to 12 that offers a rigorous academic program to a diverse student body in one of Canada's safest communities. RNS is 100% committed to educating, celebrating and supporting each student so they can be their best.

RNS’s exceptional academic program is complemented by our signature co-curricular and extra-curricular programming that enriches the student experience and imparts life-long value. Our unique daily Advisor Program ensures every student is surrounded by a strong network of highly qualified, dedicated faculty and staff whose mission is to provide academic, emotional and social guidance and support. This individual attention is the hallmark of an RNS education – our graduates are confident, compassionate leaders with a global perspective and a determination to make a difference in the world.

The RNS campus is housed on 125 pristine acres in the safe, picturesque province of New Brunswick. The campus boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities that foster top-tier learning. The brand-new Science Hall building, slated to open in September 2021, will focus on STEAM curriculum for the modern age, revolutionizing teaching and learning at RNS.
