Branksome Hall is Toronto's only all-girls, all-years International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. Our IB Advantage for Girls sparks students' curiosity and passion for new challenges through our unique combination of outstanding academics, well-being, international mindedness and strong focus on innovation. Our inquiry-based Liberal Arts curriculum is enriched by our four core values: sense of community, inclusiveness, creativity and making a difference.

An independent school, Branksome Hall educates 900 girls on our 13-acre campus in downtown Toronto. Our state-of-the art facilities include an Athletics and Wellness Centre, STEAM Studio, Innovation Hub, Makerspaces and flexible learning environments.

We offer a Boarding Program and an immersive Study Abroad Program with our sister school, Branksome Hall Asia in South Korea.

Our graduates are welcomed by leading universities in Canada and around the world, most with scholarships. More than $1 million in student financial assistance is provided each year.

School Differentiators

Branksome Hall is the only all-girls school offering the International Baccalaureate program in Toronto.

We are a school defined by innovation and an innovator's mindset - a place that embraces best practices to ensure that our students are well prepared for a future that is constantly evolving. Branksome students can participate in Canada's only student business accelerator program, Noodle, where they create business ideas and make a social impact. With ideas like creating a student ambassador program to take action on climate change, students are tackling world issues and competing for a $10,000 grant to support their business.

Branksome Hall's campus is located in the middle of Toronto, Canada's largest and most diverse city. Our urban setting provides many opportunities for our boarding students to explore the city's cultural attractions and shopping districts - all just outside our doors!

Community Service & Trips

Part of Branksome's mission is to "shape a better world" and students live this through giving service to others. They enthusiastically commit to caring for others, challenging themselves to support a person or a community.

Local organizations that need caring volunteers seek out Branksome's students for a wide range of roles, from volunteering in peer math tutoring to Best Buddies and Horizons.

International service trips have included Costa Rica and South Africa.

Our Grade 9 Global Leaders Program has our students spending time at our sister school, Branksome Hall Asia, located in Jeju Island, South Korea.
