School Profile
Welcome to Trafalgar Castle School, where girls in grades 4 through 12 thrive in a diverse, close-knit community, empowered by future-ready learning and the confidence to boldly lead.
Our independent day and boarding school for girls is small by design, which means that each of our students is personally known and supported through innovative programming, learning supports and a community that cultivates a strong sense of belonging. At Trafalgar, our students can truly be themselves and feel free to take risks, speak their minds, tackle challenges, and even fail without social pressure.
Trafalgar's academics are grounded in Future Ready Competencies and skills that prepare students for real-world challenges and opportunities. With an emphasis on authentic learning and real-world problem solving combined with experiential, hands-on learning, an advanced academic program and exceptional curriculum in math, science, technology, social sciences, English, the arts and languages, our students are encouraged to take risks, think critically, get creative and collaborate — necessary skills to take on real-world challenges and opportunities.
Located just 30 minutes east of Toronto, Canada, and with direct flights to many international destinations, our boarding program for students in Grades 7 to 12 provides exceptional care of every student and maintains strong connections with families so they feel included in their child's educational experience. Our top-notch facilities include bright rooms, a swimming pool, fitness centres, comfy lounge with televisions, games room, outdoor multi-court, state-of-the-art classrooms and more. The boarding experience also includes a variety of organized onsite activities (like yoga, swimming, hiking, cooking classes and group challenges) and organized excursions outside of the Castle to exciting attractions, both locally and in other Canadian cities.
For 150 years, Trafalgar Castle School students leave with more than just a diploma — they leave with a preparedness for today's dynamic world and a world yet to be imagined.
