St. John's-Ravenscourt School (SJR) is one of Canada's leading independent, co-educational, university-preparatory boarding and day schools, celebrating 200 years in education.
SJR has an outstanding debating and public speaking program, has produced 18 Rhodes Scholars and numerous athletes who have competed at national and international levels, including the Olympics. SJR's graduates receive top scholarships and go on to study in prestigious universities around the world.
An average of 98% of SJR graduates are offered their first university and program, SJR graduates have been offered in excess of $20 million in merit scholarship money towards the cost of their university education.
The SJR boarding program is open to boys and girls in Grade 8 - 12, and provides a tightly knit, family-like environment with a maximum of 20 students and ratio of 1 resident staff for every 2 boarders.

Community Service & Trips
Senior School students dedicate countless hours to making a difference in the local community and further afield.
Typically SJR students volunteer their time mentoring students at a local school, volunteer their time on a service trip to various countries, raise money for local organizations such as CancerCare Manitoba, the Terry Fox Foundation, the Lake Winnipeg Foundation, the Boys and Girls Club, and much, much more!
During a typical academic year, there are cultural trips to various countries and an Orphanage Outreach trip to Dominican Republic planned over the March Break each year.
As well as a Leadership Diploma retreat, Arts and Music trips and several sports teams tournament trips.
