Established in 1921, Queen Margaret's School is located on 27 country-like acres on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Queen Margaret's School's university-preparatory program inspires students to achieve in a structured and safe learning environment. Our teaching approach focuses on the pillars of academic rigor and personal excellence, gender equality and fairness, and building character and service.
At QMS, learning goes beyond the classroom. Our unique programming includes a variety of Advanced Placement courses and Equine Facilitated Leadership Development, as well as innovative, learning strategies such as entrepreneurial thinking, global sustainability, experiential and inquiry-based learning. Through these unique approaches, students gain opportunities to test knowledge through hands-on exercises and to apply what they've learned to real world settings.
