A GNS education is intended, and designed, to open the universe of possibilities to every student and to ignite their passion for their own unique futures. We help students discover who they are, not just what they want to be. When they leave GNS, they have learned how to be curious, engaged and balanced learners who are ready to take positive risks, make mistakes and follow their own path. They graduate knowing they can make a difference.

Every student at GNS is an IB learner. Every teacher is an IB educator. During their time at GNS, students are encouraged to ask questions, investigate topics independently and take action about issues they feel are important. Building on a foundation of almost 30 years of training and experience, our teachers have made a strong commitment to delivering the IB curricula as they believe it equips our students with the higher-level skills of inquiry, analysis and innovation, which allow them to have a positive effect on the world around them.

Our students enjoy the richness of opportunity that comes from being a part of a smaller school that offers large school programs, where everyone is expected to take part. Play on the soccer team, perform in the musical, or organize a beach clean-up—we count on our Gryphons to be active, involved members of our community. As a result, students gain confidence and are inspired to pursue their passions.
