School Profile
Founded in 1836, Bishop's College School (BCS) has a distinguished tradition of preparing students in grades 7 to 12 for university and beyond. Nestled in Quebec’s picturesque Eastern Townships, BCS offers a small, safe, and welcoming community less than two hours from Montreal. With core values of Leadership, Growth, Engagement, Experience, and Exploration, BCS shapes students' personal and academic journeys in meaningful ways.
Our diversity is one of our greatest strengths, with students from over 35 countries coming together to form an inclusive and dynamic community. We take pride in fostering an environment that celebrates cultural differences while promoting a sense of belonging for students from all backgrounds.
The heart of BCS is its strong academic program, which encourages students to become informed global citizens. Our approach to education extends beyond the classroom—students engage with peers and faculty during meals, extracurriculars, and daily interactions, creating a vibrant culture of continuous learning.
At BCS, students receive individualized support within a structured environment, guided by certified teachers and full-time academic mentors. Our mission is to cultivate a community where learning thrives and future leaders are shaped. Graduates leave BCS well-prepared to excel at top universities worldwide, poised to make a meaningful impact on society.
