School Profile

Located in the heart of Winnipeg, Balmoral Hall was founded in 1901 to offer a comprehensive girls’ education. An independent day and boarding school for girls from Junior Nursery to Grade 12, BH welcomes students from around the world, encouraging them to discover their passions in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It's a fast-changing world, and for many girls the path ahead will take them into uncharted territory. Balmoral Hall School's unlimited learning community fully prepares girls for that future by offering the most unique educational experience. Every member of our community supports BH girls on their individual learning journeys by contributing to their success.

Acclaimed post-secondary advisement and language learning faculty guide students' entry to their choice of university or college in North America and internationally.

A dedicated boarding, learning, and wellness team works with students to ensure their safety and encourage participation in co-curricular activities. Boarding students are housed on campus in a boutique boarding house. The Head of School promises the custodianship of international students.

Benidickson Centre for Arts & Design, built in 2018–2019, creates enrichment opportunities in visual and performing arts, design, and more. In 2022–2023, Balmoral Hall introduced a Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Certificate.
