School Profile
Founded in 1920 and located on a peaceful and secure 50-acre campus in Wilcox, Saskatchewan under living skies with dynamic views, Athol Murray College of Notre Dame is a university preparatory, coeducational day/boarding school for students in Grades 9-12. No other high school in the world has developed more elite, junior, National, Olympic, professional male and female athletes with more than 215 alumni having being drafted, played, refereed or coached in the National Hockey League. The Hounds of Notre Dame is a brand that is recognized throughout the world with over 16,000 active alumni. We offer AP, Dual Credit university and STEAM courses. The student population is 90% boarding from an average of 20 different countries. All classrooms are newly constructed or renovated in the last two years. The College Science and Arts Building is state of the art. We have an arena with Olympic size ice surface, off-ice shooting centre, university calibre weight room, gymnasium, sports fields and more. Notre Dame is famous worldwide for hockey and has 15 other competitive sports including our Sports of Excellence for volleyball and basketball which compete in Club or Elite Prep leagues. We have on campus Healthcare facilities with 24 hour supervision. The Notre Dame vision focusses on the development of the whole person building leadership skills and a balance of mind, body and spirit.
